Dr. Amine Fawaz, 56, of Odessa passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Hospice House. He was born January 1, 1954 in Lebanon to Mohammad & Arfeh Abu Khalil Fawaz. He was a professor of Mathematics at U.T.P.B. He married Anita Weber August 6, 1995 in Estes Park, CO.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Fawaz , son, Alec Fawaz, daughter, Alma Fawaz all of Odessa, brothers, Ali Fawaz of Dearborn, MI, Abdullah Fawaz of Beirut, Lebanon, sisters, Samia Fawaz & Fatme Fawaz both of Dearborn, MI, and Warde Fawaz of Beirut, Lebanon & Zahra Abou-Khalil of Tyre, Lebanon.
Private services will be held. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
