Andrea T. Torres

Andrea met the love of her life, Palomino Elias Torres, in 1955. The two were married on December 14, 1963, beginning a life together deeply rooted in love, family, and faith.

A faithful Christian, Andrea was baptized in 1963 and remained devoted to her faith throughout her life. In 1964, she and her husband were called to serve as pastoral missionaries, beginning a lifelong commitment to ministry. In 1970, they helped establish the foundation of IAFCJ in El Porvenir, Chihuahua. Andrea faithfully served alongside her husband as a pastoral wife for more than 62 years and was devoted to her local church and Apostolic faith at Iglesia Apostólica De La Fe en Cristo Jesús Del Ranchito Del Norte.

Andrea was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness extended far beyond her family. She welcomed others with warmth and hospitality and was always ready to offer a shoulder to cry on. Known as a prayer warrior, she faithfully prayed for those around her and was a source of comfort and encouragement to many. She cherished her role as a homemaker and midwife and loved cooking for her family and others. Friendly and caring by nature, Andrea had a heart for people and made those around her feel welcomed and loved. Her favorite color was red.

Andrea is survived by her sons, Elias Jr. and wife Cindy Torres of Odessa, Texas; Jesus and wife Norma Torres of Hobbs, New Mexico; Israel and wife MaryGrace Torres of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; and David and wife Marylou Torres of Odessa, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters, Sarah, Margarita, Estela, Gloria, Consuelo, Nancy, and Antonia; her brothers, Manuel, Marcelino, and Jesus; as well as 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Preceliano Torres and Romanita Muñoz; her husband, Palomino Elias Torres; her daughter, Eva Torres; and her sister, Elvira Quintana.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eli, Angel, Greg, Chuyito, David, Israel, Elijah, and Ethan.

Visitation will be held at Iglesia Apostólica De La Fe en Cristo Jesús Del Ranchito Del Norte, 1127 Yucca Ave., Odessa, Texas 79765, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The funeral service will take place at Iglesia Apostólica De La Fe en Cristo Jesús Del Ranchito Del Norte, 1127 Yucca Ave., Odessa, Texas 79765, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

A committal service will follow at Ector County Cemetery, 300 S. Dixie Blvd., Odessa, Texas 79761.
