Antonio Rivera Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, was a man whose warmth, kindness, and love for his family touched everyone who knew him. He treasured life and his family above all else, always putting others before himself with a gentle spirit and a generous heart. His presence was a source of comfort, joy, and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Antonio is survived by his beloved wife, Velma G. Rivera, who shared his life and love through the years. His daughter, Janet Gallegos, and her husband Guillermo, who brought him immense pride and joy and held a special place in his heart. She will forever be his little girl and carry his love, passion, and wisdom. His son, Antonio Rivera III, and his wife Heather, were a constant source of love and companionship, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His daughter Lizette Rivera was also a special part of his life, and her love and presence were meaningful to him. Also, his two step-sons, Mark Torres and Norman Dominguez along with five half-brothers, and two half-sisters, each of whom contributed to his rich and loving family legacy.
He was a proud grandfather to seventeen grandchildren: Elena, Jonli, Aaron, Antonio IV, Analysa, Alaina, Miguel, and seven others. Also, a honored great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren. The joy he found in his family was immeasurable, and his love extended through generations, touching the hearts of all his descendants.
Throughout his life, Antonio exemplified love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to his family. His gentle spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.
We are also extremely grateful for his aunts, uncles, and friends. They have fulfilled his life in many ways.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Jose and Oralia Castelo for their generosity in providing Antonio’s resting place. Their kindness has meant so much to our family during this difficult time.
Additionally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Medical Center Hospital for their tireless efforts and compassionate care. Their dedication and kindness made a profound difference in our loved one’s final days and in our family’s journey through grief.
May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his beautiful memory continue to inspire us all to love more deeply, live more fully, and cherish every precious moment with those we hold dear.
