Barbara Ann Patterson

Barbara was born in Odessa on February 14th, 1939 to Clyde and Ann Payne. She married Billy Myles Patterson on June 9, 1956 who preceded her in death in 2020.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Dick Glover and for Obbco, amongst others, before opening Circle P Ranch Supply in October of 1977.

Barbara loved to play games, especially poker and slot machines. She was very lucky and enjoyed traveling to Louisiana and Ruidoso to play over the years. She enjoyed reading mostly Western books, sometimes as many as two a day, but her favorite was Gone with the Wind. Barbara was an excellent cook, even up until very recently, when she made her family recipe dressing for Christmas dinner, with a little help 😉.

Barbara was a straight shooter, always honest, and very supportive. She was a believer in Jesus so we are thankful she is healed and laughing in heaven today.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and husband. She is survived by her son Willy Patterson and his wife Julie Patterson of Odessa, along with her daughter Cindy Cobb of Oklahoma. Her grandchildren Shane Patterson, Brooklyn Anderson, Jason Cobb, Tishanee Crawford, and Jesse Cobb. And her great grandchildren, Myles Patterson, Brianna Conn, Myles Crawford, and Daisy Crawford.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Ector County Cemetery, 300 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761.
