Benito Cabezuela Carrasco

Benito Cabezuela Carrasco was born on August 16, 1969 to the late Manuel and Alicia Carrasco. He attended Odessa High School and graduated from Permian High School. He married the late Dianna Carrasco (Valenzuela) on December 26, 1992.

He worked as a dispatcher for Blue Streak in Midland, Texas. He enjoyed cooking, watching his beloved Cowboys, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. He was always the life of the party.

Benito is survived by his three daughters, Brittany Gilbert (Jordan Rivera), Victoria Carrasco, and Isabella Carrasco; stepmother, Zita Carrasco; sisters and brothers, Maria Bustillos (Guadalupe), Manuel Carrasco Jr., Elena Rivera (Dennis), Juandiego Carrasco (Kristina), Mateo Carrasco (Mary), and Angel Reiswig (Jeff); his three beloved grandchildren, Tristan, Gabriel, and Aubriella Rivera; 17 nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, February 7, 2022 from 1-7 PM at Odessa Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic School Gymnasium. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Manuel Carrasco Jr, Juandiego Carrasco, Lupe Bustillos, Dennis Rivera, Jeff Reiswig, Ricardo Caballero Jr, Alfonso Araujo, and Adrian Bustillos.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association or to the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
