Bernice Gonzales Sanchez

Bernice was born in Shafter Texas, was raised and attended school in Fort Stockton, Texas. She graduated from Odessa College with an associates degree in nursing.

She is survived by her two sons, Mike Sanchez of Odessa, Texas, Robert Sanchez of Converse, Texas; three daughters, Olga Sanchez of El Paso, Texas, Rosemary S. Andros of San Angelo, Texas, Cecilia Sanchez of Odessa, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Cipriano Sanchez; daughter, Velma Sanchez Pando; her parents and all of her siblings.

I keep hearing a voice that says "Grieve not for me."

Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs.

The good life I lived while I was strong.

Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.

Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.

Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.

Continue traditions, no matter how small.

Go on with your life, don't worry about falls.

I miss you all dearly, but live and keep faith.

The day will come when we are together again.

A private service will be held at a later date.
