Bertha Adelina Gonzalez Gonzalez Keith

Bertha Adelina Keith passed away Monday October 24, 2011 at her residence. She was born on October 1, 1941 in Del Rio, Texas to Rufina V. Gonzalez and Manuel E. Gonzalez. Bertha graduated from Incarnate Word College. She was a lab technician after completing post-graduate medical technical training at Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio. She was vice president of her class.

She married Micheal J. Keith in April 1965 in Odessa Texas at Saint Mary's Catholic Church.

Bertha worked for Dr. Charles Stevens after moving to Odessa from San Angelo. She soon went to work for Medical Center Hospital until 1980. She then went to work in the family business at Manuel's Restaurant. Bertha was a part of community work at Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary every third Monday of the month. For the past 5 yrs she has worked at Walmart as Customer Service and in the Fabric Dept. where she has made many friends and has done every day with a smile. As many accomplishments as she had she was most happy spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel E Gonzalez and Rufina V Gonzalez and first husband Micheal J. Keith.

She leaves as her legacy Micheal J. Keith of Midland, TX and Kevin J. Keith & his wife Randa M. Keith and sons Bryson J Keith and Koda J. Keith also of Midland, TX. Brothers Manuel E. Gonzalez and Samuel Gonzalez of Odessa TX.

She will be remembered as a generous, loving, and thoughtful person who touched many lives always thinking of others before herself.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home Chapel, 601 N. Alleghaney, Odessa, TX, 432-332-0991 on Saturday October 29th at 10 am. Following services will be a gathering at Manuel's Restaurant.
