Betty Brymer

Betty Jo Brymer, age 84, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Select Medical in Midland, TX.

She was born January 3, 1929 to Ezra and Clara (Miles) Brookshire in Arlington, TX. She married Elic Ray Brymer on February 4, 1950 in Colorado City, TX. She was a homemaker and a Senior Regent of the Women’s Auxiliary at the Moose Lodge.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her son, Elic Ray Brymer Jr; daughters Eulene Cave and Patricia Cartwright, all of Odessa; brothers Dalton Brookshire of Bowie, TX, and Tommy Brookshire of Oklahoma; sisters Sissie Doss of Big Spring, Joyce Newkirk of Granbury, and Dessie Brookshire of Bowie; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
