Betty Jo is survived by her children, Jimmy Kerr, Benny Kerr and Betty Ann Eichert; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. She ias preceded in death by her husband Ben Kerr, her parents Clay Anderson and Zona Johns, her brother Jack Anderson, her sister Sarah Kirsch, and her granddaughter Brandy Harvick.
Betty Jo was born August 5, 1927 in Rising Star, Texas. She attended Odessa High School and married Benjamin Franklin Kerr August 21, 1948. She was a stay-at-home mom and was dearly loved by her family and all of her many friends.
She was so much fun to be around and loved to laugh. If you knew Betty Jo, you knew you were loved. Some of her favorite things were talking to people, shoes, big earrings, jewelry of all kinds, jigsaw puzzles, and chickens.
Visitation and viewing will be Monday, July 6, 2020 from 5-9 PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services are Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 1 PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating.
For everyone's safety, the funeral home requires masks be worn at all times in the building.
Friends and family unable to attend services in person will be able to view live on Hubbard-Kelly’s Facebook page. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens followed immediately by a reception at her home.
