Billie M Baldwin

Billie Maxwell Baldwin, 80, passed away Thursday July 30, 2015 in the Medical Center Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, August 3rd from 6 – 8 PM and services will be held Tuesday, August 4th at 10 AM -- both at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will be held after funeral at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.

He was born May 24, 1935 in Ringling, OK to James and Cathrine Baldwin. He was the 5th child of 6. He graduated from Ringling High in 1955. He married his first wife Patsy Ruth Doyle in 1956 and together they raised 3 beautiful girls. He lost Patsy to cancer in 1986, and later married his 2nd wife, Barbara Ann Patterson in 1990. He also lost his daughter Nancy Gregory in 2002.

He enjoyed camping, skiing, boating, and hiking. Billie retired from Halliburton in 1990 after 35 years of employment. In his retirement he and Barbara spent 16 years as a camp host at Big Bend National Park.

He is survived by his 2nd wife, Barbara of the home, sister Dorthy File of Follet; sister-in-law Faye Baldwin of Commanche; daughter Karen Jackson & husband Rick of Odessa, daughter Debby Greer of Big Spring, daughter Sarah Lauxman & husband Doug of Towanda, son William Thomas, Jr. & wife Cindy of Wichita, daughter Christine Werth & husband Ken of Wichita; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
