He was born on September 9,1927 in Ranger, Texas to Ben and Mattie Gray.
Bobby, or better known as Papaw will be remembered for his kindness, honesty, integrity, dependability, responsibility, and especially for his devotion to and love for his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Mary Helen Gray, his parents, and his five siblings.
He is survived by his children: Richard Gray and Carla Stringer; his grandchildren: Richard Stringer and wife Ashley and Ashlea Stringer and her husband Adam; and his great-grandchildren: Hunter, Berkley, Harlow, and Hudson.
