Brenda Susan (O'Shield) Trottier

Susan was born in Odessa, Texas on December 31, 1956 to parents Lewis and Billie O’Shield. She graduated from Permian High School in 1975. She married Dale Kenneth Trottier from Alberta Canada on March 31, 1990. They were together for 43 years.

Susan and Dale started their own company, DKT Services in 1996, located in Canada which they were employed until the year 2019.

She enjoyed the outdoors. She spent more time outside in the yard than she did inside. Susan and her husband loved to travel. She loved camping in the great outdoors. Susan was very much involved with the ASPCA, the Homeless Shelter, and Feed the Children.

She was a very talented artist that loved to draw and paint. She also loved music and played piano and several other instruments.

Susan is survived by her husband, Dale Trottier her step children: Derrick his wife Christie and their children Barron, Madik; Cinnamon and children Alliya, Brianna, Caylan and Caius; Trinity Bruce and children Marrisa, Kalie, Tyler, Charlie. Susan’s mother Billie Jean O’Shield of Odessa. Sisters: Sharon O’Shield of Odessa; Starla and husband Jimmy Allbright of Odessa, their children: Misty and Husband Chris Jones and Joshua Allbright. Four Great-Nephews: Dawson Jones, Lane Culver, Payson Allbright, and Kezler Allbright: One (1) Great Niece Dylyn Jones.

Susan would not want us to leave out the newest member of the family- her cat, Prince Romeo.

Susan is preceded in death by her father, Lewis Edward O’Shield: Grandparents- Louis G. and Floy M. O’Shield; Arlie R. and Noma L. Cole.

Dr. Jimmy Braswell will be officiating the graveside services for the family. There will be a graveside service held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa at 1pm on Friday October 29th, 2021.
