Candelario Munoz, age 97, of Odessa, Texas, passed away in Odessa at his home, on Tuesday July 20, 2018. He was born in Westoff, Texas, on April 21, 1921 to Teodoro S. Munoz and Maria Garcia. Canderlario worked in the restaurant industry as a cook He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Louisa Munoz, 4 sons Jose, Domingo, Francisco, and Jessie Munoz, 2 grandsons Domingo Munoz Jr. and Daniel Barriga, as well as 2 sisters Lupe Esparza, Porfidia Garza, 7 brothers Santiago Joe, Erasmo, Teodoro, Roberto, Luis and Domingo Munoz. He is survived by 3 sons Ernest Munoz and wife Anna, Raul Munoz and wife Elaine and Paul Munoz all of Odessa, Texas, 3daughters Josephine Cruz and husband Sam of Hobbs, New Mexico, Bea Lucero of Houston Texas and Hope Barriga and husband Omar and Toni Munoz of Odessa , Texas, also 1 sister Maria Betancourt of Lubbock, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday July 23, 2018 from 9am to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home 1700 N. Jackson Odessa Texas.

Funeral Mass will be Tuesday July 24, 2018 at 10am at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church 7601 N. Grandview Odessa, Texas 79765
