Carmen M. Badillo, 85, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Hospice House. She was born January 25, 1928 in Colorado City, TX. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Jehovah’s Witness, and a auxiliary pioneer for the Kingdom Hall. She touched many lives with her passionate love of the Bible.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emilio & Epimenia Marmolejo & her husband Timothy Badillo. She is survived by her daughter, Irene Badillo of Odessa, her son, Daniel Badillo & wife Virginia of Victoria, TX.,(3) grandchildren, Steven Badillo, Carmelita Covernali, & Jeannie Galindo Llanez, (3) great-grandchildren, Daniel Ray Tavarez, Malachi Badillo, Ulises Covernali, & great-great-grandson, Adrian Lorenzo Tavarez.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
