Charles Wayne Hayden Jr.

"THE LEGEND" was born in Denton, TX on July 31st 1973 to Charles Wayne Hayden Sr and Patricia Hayden. He graduated from Okmulgee High School in Okmulgee, OK.

Charles met Priscilla White (Mollett) in 2006 in Clark, WY and they started their lives together for the next 19 years. They each brought children from previous marriages and did their best to blend their families. They were married on October 6, 2013 In Green River, WY.

Charles poured his heart and soul into his work. He loved working for High Mountain Inspection. When work slowed in Wyoming he pushed to start a branch in Texas which he built with his reputation, relationships and work ethic. He loved his crews and genuinely cared about their personal lives while pushing them to bring out the best in themselves. He worked hard to create relationships with everyone he worked with and for, and those relationships turned into lasting friendships. When he wasn't at work, you could find Charles at home sharing his recliner with his beloved dogs. He was always posting pictures of them on Facebook and making sure that they all got chair time with him.

Charles and Priscilla had two sons pass away unexpectedly in the last four years. Matthew Hayden at 25 years old on April 1s, 2021 and then Jage White at 24 years old on March 27th, 2023. The loss of those beloved boys was life changing for the whole family.

Charles is survived by his wife, Priscilla White-Hayden. His Children, Addison McGowen, Grahm Hayden and Benjamin White. His sister Liz Womack(Danny). Nieces, Hayley Schaffer(Nathan) and Hayden Allender(Josh) and great nephew Hudson Allender.

Charles is preceded in death by Matthew Hayden and Jage White. His parents, Charles and Patricia Hayden. Grandparents, Lillian and Chester Bridges, and Doyle "Chuck" Hayden and Aline Risner.

The Family of Charles Wayne Hayden Jr wishes to thank High Mountain Inspection and all of our family and friends for all of the amazing care, comfort and support during this difficult time.

Services will be held at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home in Odessa, TX On October 24th at 1pm.
