CHRISTINA S DELAO

Crespina "Christina" Sais DeLaO passed away Saturday December 3rd at Hospice House. She was born July 24, 1923 in Pecos. She was married to Preciliano DeLaO on September 6th 1940. She is preceded in death by her husband Preciliano DeLaO, son Israel "Roddy" DeLaO and daughter in law Olivia DeLaO. "Mama" was an amazing woman who never faltered in her love for her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a homemaker and took her duties as a mom and caregiver very seriously. There was never a time someone would come visit and she didn't have food ready to offer. She had a great sense of humor and always loved to laugh. She always welcomed visitors into her home with happiness and open arms. She was a devout Catholic and never swayed from her love of Jesus and guided her life by his teachings. She is survived by her children; son Abel DeLaO, daughter Hope and husband Frank Jacobo Sr., daughter Mary and husband Henry Rubio and son Rafael "Ralph" DeLaO and wife Rosa all of Odessa; 12 grandchildren Wilma McCoul, Monica Marr, Patricia DeLaO, Cindy Garcia, Frank Jacobo Jr. Joe Jacobo, Naomi Castellon, Sunny Castellon, Israel DeLaO, Jeremy DeLaO, Vanessa Meadors, and Aaron DeLaO; and 12 great grandchildren. Rosary will be said at 7 pm, Wednesday December 7th at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 pm, Thursday December 8th at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

I just heard about your mom. I am so sorry and I want you to know I am thinking of you and what you and your family must be going through right now. Please accept my condolences. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you.
