Criselda (Cris) was born in Ft. Stockton, Texas on August 28, 1937 to Estella Hernandez and Manuel Alaniz. She married in 1956 to Luis S. Dominguez and raised their family in Odessa, Texas.
Criselda raised three children and was involved in their school interest. After her youngest entered high school, she found interest in cake decorating, furniture upholstering and cosmetology. She worked hard in everything she did with a loving heart.
Criselda was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband Luis S. Dominguez, brother Daniel Alaniz, sister Mary Dora Cardona.
She is survived by daughters; Cynthia Dominguez of Odessa, Sandra Medrano and husband Benny Medrano of Odessa; son Luis Albert Dominguez of Odessa. Grandsons; Joshua Medrano of Addison, TX and Kyle Jamison, granddaughter Sierra Medrano of Odessa ; sister Ida Sanchez of Los Angeles, CA. and many nieces and nephews along with sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws that loved her. Her loving heart will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM and on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 7:00 PM. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 13, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
