My heart goes out to Curtis' widow Peggy,his sister Christine,our three children Michael, Ronald, Jessica and all his family and friends. May God comfort each one. His spirit has gone back to God from whence it came and he is now waiting for the resurrection.

A heartfelt Condolence from Switzerland!

I loved my Daddy very much.  I was so glad to have learned so much from him.  He was very well read and very inteligent.  I was very happy to be able to spend time with him in Questa, New Mexico gold prospecting.  He loved doing that.  We spent more time visiting with each other than hunting for gold, but we did find the real thing!  I was very happy to have spent time with him on that trip.  I talked with him for a long time on the phone a couple of hours before he got sick this last time.  I am so glad I did get that last oportunity to talk to my Daddy.  Eldest son, Curtis Michael Cobb

Curtis was my big brother and I was lucky to have a big brother like him.  He took care of me even when I was a baby by pulling me in his little red wagon while our mother picked pecans, etc..

Later, when we went to school he watched over me if there was a storm cloud approaching. He would take my hand and make sure we got to a safe place. If there happened to be a bully wanting to hurt me, Curtis saw to it they didn't get a chance to do it ! 

I don't remember our parents ever telling him to do these things he just did it because it was the right thing to do. 

I will miss him terribly and I know our Lord is watching over him now.

My prayers go out to the many friends and extended loved ones he had.

May the Holy Spirit comfort you.

My prayers go out to God for Curtis' family and everyone's loss. Your loss is Heaven's gain. Talk about a Family Reunion upstairs! 

I believe God's Heavenly eternal plans for our soul is a bit more than a family reunion,still....I cannot help but smile when I think of him together with all of our lost loved ones. I'm sure the Lord's Love allows some awesome time of family reunion for men like Curtis Cobb before his next eternal assignment in God's Heavenly Realm.

May Happy thoughts of Curtis and the Lord's Love comfort family and friends during their grief and mourning.

May God bless. Thanks for the stories and memories. A man that always had the plan for the situation. Never met a stranger, and if you didn't like his suspenders and straw hats, well to darn bad. I'm glad to have known him. For years he had talked about the dream of the mining the streams and finding the gold that was lost. The dream has come true and the streets he is walking is where he belongs.
