He was born February 23, 1988 in Odessa, the son of Cyrus Perkins, III (Russ) and Lee Perkins. He attended Midland schools. He had most recently been working in the oil fields.
As a child Cy loved soccer, and has been a lifelong fan of the Cowboys. He had a great sense of humor and could always bring a smile to your face. He was a loving father, and it was always a joy to watch him with Kinslee.
Cy had many hopes and dreams and the potential to become anyone he wanted to be.
Cy will be deeply missed as a father, a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend.
Cy is survived by his daughter, Kinslee, his father, Russ, and sister, Ashlee, his mother, Lee Perkins, his maternal grandmother, Polette Parker, his paternal grandparents, Cyrus Perkins, Jr. and Joan Perkins, his aunts, Cathey Perkins and Donna Colbert, and his cousin, Stephanie Craighead.
