Shawn was the 5th of seven children, one step brother and one step sister. He grew up in Odessa Texas where he went to Permian High School. He later we on to get his GED and became a licensed barber. Shawn was the owner of the King Cave, Mocuts Mobile and another shop which was soon to be opening called Red Room which would be ran by his wife Anna Palko.
Shawn was proceeded in death by his grandfather Jesse Hudson, his grandmother Dorothy Shedwin, great grandma Murl Montgomery and great granddad Howard Montgomery.
He leaves to cherish his memory: dad Victor McCowan Sr., mother Dorothy Price and stepdad Daryl,
4 sisters: Takisha Davis, Roshenda Redic, Alexis Hodge, Victadria McCowan, 4 brothers: Victor McCowan Jr., Antonio Toney, Kaleb McCowan, Carvorsia Rose, 5 children: D'Cobryian Rose, Ja'Braylen Anders, De'Aubreaun Rose Jr., De'Aubreana Rihana Rose, Seven Rose two step children Ava Palko and Arianna Flores all of Odessa/ Midland Texas and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
