Delores LaRue (Sprouse) Lewis

She married Billy Lewis on December 25, 1969. She worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement in 2009. Delores loved to sew, crochet and go bowling. She loved and absolutely adored her husband. Her children were always given what they needed and she made sure to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her husband of 53 years, Billy; daughter, Melissa Mullins and husband Shannon of Odessa; son, Michael Lewis and wife Sonya of Odessa; mother, Frankie Sprouse of Baird; brothers, Larry Sprouse and wife Gloria of Monahans and Kenneth Sprouse and wife Joyce of Slidell, LA; sisters, Brenda Grainger and husband Jim of Lafayette, LA, Judy Joseph and husband Joey of Austin, Judy Velasco and husband Peter of Las Vegas, NV and Bea Bice Smith and husband David of Elk City, OK; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Sprouse; sisters, Mary Pearaline and Loretta Sprouse; and grandson, Coy Caleb.

Public viewing will be Monday, July 18, 2022 from 10 AM-1 PM at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the chapel with John Hendricks officiating.
