She was preceded in death by her father, Benny Day; maternal grandparents Georgia and Earl Willbanks; paternal grandparents Floyd and Ada Mae Day, both of Lubbock. She is survived by her mother Betty; brother Daran and his wife Lorinda, nephew Halen; uncle Jimmy Day of Lubbock; and also by her adopted sister Lynn Day Robinett.
Her greatest love was her family and friends. She adored her brother Daran and was his biggest fan. One of the greatest joys in her life was her only nephew Halen. She loved creating and giving him gifts, always overdoing it which was her style. He couldn’t have asked for a better aunt. She left an indelible imprint on the hearts and memories of her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held for her Wednesday, December 3rd at 2:00 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home, 4635 Oakwood Drive, Odessa, Texas 79761.
