Dilla V Parker Warren

Dilla Warren, 90, of Odessa passed away March 3, 2011.

She was born in Collins Co. Texas September 12, 1920. She moved to Lubbock, Texas at a young age. She attended school in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School. She was one of four daughters of Mr. and Ms. L.W. Parker. She married in 1941 to Davis D. Warren Sr. in Lubbock on November 29, 1941.

She lived most of her life in Texas, except for 7 years she lived in Oklahoma.

She would have had her 70th wedding anniversary this coming November 29, 2011.

She loved golf and antiques. She had an antique store in Odessa for years and was a judge at the Odessa Antique Show for many years.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Genell Cornel of Abilene and Mrs. Geraldine Osborne of Lubbock.

She is survived by her husband Davis D. Warren Sr., son, Davis D. Warren Jr. and wife Dee of Stuart VA., daughter, Deborah McGee and husband Don of Woodland, TX., sister, Mrs. J.T. Martin of Lubbock and a niece Mrs. Vivian Petty of Abilene, 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 6-8p.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Monday, March 7, 2011 2:00 p.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
