

She was the oldest of six children. Dorothy learned family values from her parents. The children
learned to play together as a family and to help one another. She was a long time resident of Odessa and resided in Midland for nine years. She was a member of the Myrtle Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Midland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orbie H. Redman, daughter, Debra Kay Redman and brothers, Talmadge Vessels and Jerry Vessels.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald D. Redman, Bobby H. Redman and wife, Toni of Midland, Jerry D. Redman and wife, Sue of College Station, TX, brother, Waymond Vessels of Monahans, sister, Ophelia Carter of Midland, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday, January 20, 2014 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens
