Douglas D. Wagner

He was born November 26, 1952 in Enid, OK to Vernon and Dorothy (Snider) Wagner.

Doug graduated from Monahans High School in 1970 and attended Angelo State University for two years. He moved to Odessa in 1972 and started working as a salesman. He met Betty Vandever in 1972 at Electric Service and Supply where they worked together. They married in April 1975 and had two children.

He started his own company, DDW Oilfield Supply in 1983. He currently worked for Turbines Inc.

Doug loved to golf and had many golfing buddies. He enjoyed making and trading golf clubs with all of his friends. Doug loved tennis, shooting and water sports. He enjoyed many trips to the lake with family.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Vandever) Wagner, his parents, Vernon and Dorothy Wagner of Marble Falls, TX, daughter, Carly Haller and husband Bailey,

son, Reid Wagner and wife Kelly, all of Odessa, brothers, Rick Wagner of Kaufman, TX and Scott Wagner and wife Teresa of Austin, TX, four grandchildren, Brooklin, Haiden, Sawyer, and Dilynn. Doug had many sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents and his sister-in-law, Becky Wagner.

Family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Memorial service will be 11am Friday, May 3, 2013 at Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland with Lynn Money officiating. Memorials may be made to K.W.O. Ministries, 3500 Golf Course Road, Midland, TX 79703
