Doyce Gwyne Thompson

Doyce Gwyne Thompson, 81, passed away peacefully in her home with family. She was born on August 9, 1944, in Odessa, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband David J Thompson, her parents Carl and Bonnie Cobb, her sister Carlene Brown, her brother Eddie Cobb.

She met the love of her life in 1984 at Strike It Rich Graden Center. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love and devotion. She was a dedicated employee for Bandera School District for many years. Her unconditional love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was her greatest joy in life. She enjoyed playing games with her family, she loved rummy. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Her laugh will carry on inside her loved ones forever.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Adams (Randy), William Diggs, Shana Smith (Michael), Aubrey Diggs (Alisa), Karla Brooks (Billy), Kari Diggs, David Thompson (Morgan). She also is survived by 28 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers, Teddy Cobb (Beth), Michael Cobb (Rachel) and many nephews and nieces.
