Edward Damian Alan Dominguez, 39, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on August 21, 2026. He was born on January 6, 1987.
Edward attended Permian High School and will be remembered for his intelligence, sense of humor, and remarkable strength. As an infant, Edward was known as ‘Baby Eddie,’ while his grandmother, Baya, lovingly called him ‘Peppito.’ He shared a special and cherished bond with his mother, Rosemary, and his grandmother, Baya, who adored and cared for one another deeply.
Edward had many interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed reading about history and religion and had a deep appreciation for music, with his tastes ranging from old country to rock and heavy metal. He was also a devoted pro-wrestling fan. He will also be fondly remembered for his beloved tiny dog, Snot.
Edward is survived by his aunt, Elsa Parsons; brother, Jeremy Dominguez Peña & sister-in-law, Josie Peña of Corpus Christi, TX; nephew, Merrick Peña, Sarah Sanchez and Ashley (Mito) Franco, San Antonio TX; godson, Luis Ponce de Leon III; Franco & Edward’s godfather, Santos (Juan Carlos) Gallardo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Maria Dominguez of Odessa, TX; grandmother, Clarissa Dominguez; grandfather, Damas Dominguez; great-grandmother, Rafaela Lujan; and uncle, H.L. Parsons.
Edward will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends, including Luis Ponce de Leon Jr., Ryan Thompson Gilbreath, and Joe Larry Hubanks. Eddie was smart, funny, and had a quiet strength that was unbreakable. He was loved and will be missed by everyone whose life he touched.
