Edward Michael “Mickey” Long, 72, of Odessa passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his home. He was born December 29, 1942 in Orange, CA to James & Ruby Long. He retired from OFM Pump, Inc. as a machinist.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Nell Kelley Long on July 24, 2014. He is survived by his sons, Brian Long, Edward Long, Michael Long; daughter, Beth Walker all of Odessa; sister, Linda Thrasher of Hallsville, TX; (15) grandchildren, & (8) great-grandchildren.
A visitation with family and friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 9, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
