Elauterio Caravay Tarin

Mr. Tarin 79, of Odessa surrounded by his loving family passed away Tuesday April 1, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 9,1934 in Presidio, Texas to Abraham Tarin and Gabriela Caravay .

He was a Christian and a retired Maintenance Man for Pecos County.

He is preceded in death by Son; Robert Lee Tarin, Parents; Abraham and Gabriela Tarin.

Mr. Tarin is survived by Loving Wife. Juanita Rey Tarin of Odessa, Sons: Elauterio R. Tarin (Asteria ) of San Angelo, Texas, Reynaldo Tarin ( Eva ) of Odessa, Texas, Ruben Rey Tarin ( Romelia) of Odessa, Texas, Daughter; Ofelia Merritt ( Raymond ) of Ruidoso, NM, Brothers; Teclo Tarin of Odessa, Texas, Rumaldo Tarin of Ft. Stockton, Texas, Sisters; Lupe Holquin, Mary Moya, Felicita Leal, Teresa Aguirre, Carolina Vasquez, and Ernestina Gonzales all of Odessa, 10 Grandchildren, and 12 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.

Pall Bearers will be his Grandsons; Louis R. Jimenez Jr., Reynaldo Tarin Jr., Ruben Tarin Jr. Michael Tarin, Robert Tarin, and J.J. Rey.

Visitation will begin at 8am to 9pm today Thursday April 3,2014 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with a Prayer Service at 7pm. Services will be held at 10am Friday April 4,2014 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Samuel Ramirez Jr. officiating. Interment to follow at 2pm at Imperial County Cemetery in Imperial, Texas. Services by Odessa Funeral Home.
