He was born August 5, 1919 to Richard Lester and Alaska J. (Watson) Brown in Copan, Oklahoma. He served in the Navy, and was a petroleum supervisor for Phillips 66 for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Kenneth Brown, and two sisters, Pauline and Esther.
A family visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Graveside will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, Kansas.
