Elva Rodriguez Patino, she was born October 1st, 1948 and passed from this life into paradise on January 20th, 2026. She passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones and took her last breath being held by her beloved grandchildren Deziree Patino and Oscar Patino Jr.
Elva's life was filled with her many passions, baking, cooking, semi-pro bowling, playing slot machines, ceramic and pinata making, attending her children's activities when they were young, caring for and teaching her granddaughter Felicity, growing beautiful roses, karaoke with her son-in-law whom she lovingly referred to as her big baby. Elva loved to donate and volunteer, in her healthy years, and shopped often with her daughter Veronica for underprivileged children. She enjoyed 60 years of true, rare love with her husband Joe Patino who together embodied their vows to the fullest.
Together Elva and Joe ran two successful cafes, The Pump Jack, a commercial sandblasting business, Joe's Country Paint Shop and a tire repair company, 1.2.3. Tires. Elva would often end her phone calls with "I love you more".
Those left to cherish her memories and quote her wisdom and funny lines are her husband Joe, grandchildren, Deziree, Oscar Jr., Felicity, and lovingly adopted grandchildren Sadie, Nevin, Mikayla and great grandchildren Brielle, Elijah and Bryant, and her daughter Veronica Patino Mattox (Edward Mattox), and spiritually adopted daughters Angie Marquez Ortiz (Herman Ortiz), Lisa Salcido (James Salcido). She is survived by her sisters Trini (Raul), Eva, Socorro, son Oscar, his children and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
