Dear Cox Family,

I want to express my deepest condolences for the loss of Suga Ray.  No matter how long or brief our encounters were, he always greeted everyone with a warm smile and left a lasting impression with his kindness.  During this difficult time, I pray you find solace in the cherished memories and the time spent together - those moments can never be taken away. 

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all as you navigate this challenging period. While words may never fully express the pain you're feeling, I hope you find comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and was deeply loved and respected by so many.

My deepest condolences to the Cox family. My prayers are with you all. There were always good times and great laughs with Sugar Ray.

Sugar Ray I've know you almost my whole life. I remember you buying stuff from my fundraiser as a kid. You were always really sweet to me and I'm sorry to hear about your passing. That BIG Bright Face when walking into the Zodiac will definitely be MISSED!! Rest in Love and I pray you and Lil E are up in Heaven smiling Bright.

My sincere condolences to the family. Almost every time I came home to visit family in Odessa, Sugar Ray would always talk and chop it up with me. Southside Odessa lost a true Warrior, one of the Realest of the Real.
Sugar Ray, you will be missed my brother, but those wings will surely look good on you!
