Erlinda " Linda" Chavez Zepeda

In Our Heavenly Kingdom and the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found our beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister & Dear Friend, Erlinda “Linda” Chavez Zepeda. Ms. Zepeda, 61 of Odessa passed away Sunday August 17, 2014, in Ft. Davis, Texas following an automobile accident.

She was born in Midland, Texas to Joe and Josefa Maldonado Chavez on August 15, 1953.

Ms. Zepeda was preceded in death by her Husband, Armilo "Milo" Zepeda, Daughter, Lisa Michelle Chavez and Mother, Josefa Maldonado Chavez.

She is survived by, Father; Joe Chavez Sr. of Denton, TX, Sons; Mike, Gerard and Eddy Ray Zepeda all of Odessa, TX. Brothers; Joe Chavez Jr. of Dallas, TX, Samuel “Sam” and Raymond Chavez of Odessa, TX, Sisters; Helen Stevens of Tennessee, Eloisa Rodriguez and Olga Urias of Odessa, TX and Julie C. Hernandez of Corpus Christi, TX. Linda also leaves 6 Grandchildren, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and many Friends to cherish her memory.

Linda Chavez married Armilo“Milo” Leyva Zepeda on March 11, 1979, in Odessa, Texas.

Ms. Zepeda was a Catholic and a Liaison for Odessa Link. She loved and cherished her Grandchildren; Aubriana, Zackery, Alexus, Eddy Ray Jr., AubreyElla Sky and Damian Zepeda.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday August 20, 2014, from 8am-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home.

Service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday August 21, 2014 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joseph Uecker Officiating.

Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery-Peaceful Gardens Section.
