

Eva Lee Gavit Bolen was born July 31, 1940 in Eastland, TX to D. W. (Chick) Gavit and Berlin McKelvain Gavit.
Eva Lee found peace from a yearlong battle with cancer Wednesday evening, December 12, 2012 at her home.
Eva Lee’s life was full of laughter, fun and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She led a full, unselfish life and successfully achieved many undertakings.
Her favorite saying was “Prepare for the worst and hope for the best, never look back and keep looking up.” She lived by these words and kept a smile on her face.
Eva Lee was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Odessa, TX. She was active in many roles of the church. She graduated from Andrews High School in 1958. She attended Odessa College. She started Family Reflexology and Massage Therapy in 1983. She remained active in her business until 2002 helping many people as well as making many friends during her career. Eva Lee also sold real estate for six years.
Survives include: her husband, Ronnie J. Bolen, mother, Berlin Gavit, sons, Bobby and Randall, step-daughter, Cheri Bolen Phillips of Pleasant Farms, grandchildren: Traves and Katelyn McCorkle, and four step-grandchildren, Cole, Elizabeth, Bryer, and Isabell Phillips.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
