I am truly sorry for your family's loss. I work for the doctor Mrs. Baker has been a patient of for the last several years. I have come to count her among my friends. When she visited the lab she always brought a smile to my face. The two of us were both working to get in shape for the next Boston Marathon. I believe she has won. Mrs. Baker, save me a place at the slot machine next to you.

You have to accept your blood relatives, but you can "adopt" someone to be a relative, too. "Aunt" Florence was in my life from the time I could remember at 5 yrs. I am now 68, and I can't tell you the things she did for me and my family. She was my mother's best friend, and was accepted by the family as a member. She saved my younger sibling's life by driving him to Big Spring to a specialist one night. He was a new born and wouldn't have seen 1 year of age if she hadn't. I lived with her and Sonny for a year during my Freshman year of high school. She had the same rules my parents had.
She could be a friend to any person, even those she didn't like. She'd say maybe she just didn't know them.
As I said, there is not enough I could say about Florence. God truly has another angel in heaven.

Our family has lost a truly wonderful friend of many years. She was there for us many times as we grew up and a great friend to our parents. We will miss her but Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel.
