Frances passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband, sons & wives and grandchildren entering Heaven September 11, 2023. She joined her precious daughter, Carol Burkett. We can only imagine the joy that was celebrated in that moment.
She met Albert Adams in 1954 during a Temple Baptist teen trip to Carlsbad Caverns. They married September 8, 1957. God was always first in their marriage. She was a woman of faith and the heart of the Adams family. Frances enjoyed serving and worshiping at church, researching genealogy and reading. She had a passion for taking pictures of her family & beautiful scenery. She was always seen with a contagious smile while attending her grandchildren's activities.
She was the toddler superintendent at Temple Baptist for 30 years, touching the lives of many precious children, sang in the choir and shared her wisdom with the "Apples of Gold Ministry". She and Albert traveled around the world, spreading God's love. Their journeys took them on 44 mission trips to multiple countries.
Frances knew her Bible and God's promises for her life. She was saved May 15, 1960. She was a powerful prayer warrior, always finding strength in Jesus. Only Heaven knows the eternal impact her faithful prayers have had on her family and friends.
Frances considered her family her most prized possession, assuring each one they were special in their own unique way but mostly by showing what it truly meant to be Christ-Like. She was happiest with a house full of kids and grandchildren. The love in her heart was unconditional.
Over the years her home was open to rodeo members, serving many meals, providing a place to sleep, while making sure they knew they were welcome anytime.
We find joy in knowing that because of her relationship with Jesus she is in HIS presence. We know "goodbye" is not forever. We will see her again.
She is survived by her devoted husband Albert Adams; her sister and husband: Edith & Johnny Ingram; her sons and their wives: Randy & Sheila Adams, Keith & Leticia Adams, son-in-law Wes Burkett; grandchildren: Chris Adams(Brooke), Chad Adams, Trey Burkett(Brooke), Britni Young(Brian), Blayne Zuniga(Martin), Bryson Adams(Devin), Sidney Adams, Kordell Burkett and Molly Graf(Jackson) & a host of cherished great-grandchildren.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Frances' sweet Home Hospice caregivers, Elizabeth, Vanessa & Debbie.
