
Frances Louise Hopper, 83, of Odessa passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born May 30, 1928 in Estacado, TX to Leonard & Irene (Martin) Hughes. She was a homemaker and a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church. She married George Washington Hopper September 27, 1945 in Idalou, TX.
Frances was widely known as a woman of prayer who was totally committed to her church and family. She always had time for long conversations, and was the definition of a classy lady. Everyone should be able to leave the legacy that she did. She will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Georgia Ann Hopper, son, Michael Wayne Hopper, & brother, Oscar Hughes.
She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Beth Blount & husband, Tommy of Kingsland, TX , Judy Carol Crawford & husband, Joe of Crane, TX, sisters, Naomi Robertson & husband, Paul of Cotton Center, TX, Velma Boyd & husband Olin of San Angelo, TX, & sister, Nancy Lambert & husband, Gerald of Kings Beach, CA (7) grandchildren, & (12) great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Crescent Park Baptist Church with Dr. David Miller officiating.
