Frankie Earl Bowen

Frankie Earl Bowen, 57, of Odessa passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 24, 1953 in Odessa to Teddie Warren & Mary Frances (Gallegos) Bowen. He married Nan McGrath November 3, 1972 in Odessa. He was a plumbing contractor.

He is preceded in death by his father, Teddie Warren Bowen.

He is survived by his wife, Nan Bowen of Odessa, mother, Mary Frances Price of Odessa, sons, Jonathan Earl Bowen & wife Trishia, Matthew Hunter Bowen & wife Mariah, daughter, Amber Kay Barrientes & husband Ricky, brothers, Gerrid Bowen & wife Carolyn, Bill Bowen, Bobby Bowen & wife Margaret, & Jimmy Carr, his sister, Katherine “Kitty” Bruton & husband Kyle all of Odessa. He is also survived by his (6) grandchildren, Ashtyn, Alli Rae, Alayna, Ava, Jace & Jackson Earl.

His favorite past times were hunting, fishing, hot rods, & anything he could do with his kids. He had the biggest heart of anyone. He loved hard & played hard. His grandkids were his world. His Harley was his best friend. Dad’s motto was “I’m gonna live till I die” and he did exactly that!

There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at Crescent Park Baptist Church with Gerrid Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at West Texas Memorial Park Midland,Texas
