Burt Groves, Jr., age 86, of Odessa, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2015 at Parks Methodist . He was born March 11, 1929 in Collin County, Texas. Burt was a minister in the Church of Christ, where he pastored for a number of years.
He married Anna Q Ferguson on September 2, 1949.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Q. Groves, son Gregory Burt Groves of Casper, Wyoming, and 3 grandchildren.
Minister Groves will have a family visitation at Hubbard-Kelly from 6-8pm on Friday, May 1, 2015.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Eisenhower Church of Christ with burial at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point with Minister Allen Weakland officiating.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
