Our beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather Glen D. Ford, 92, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was born November 9, 1925 in Altus, OK to Leonard L. and Vira Jane (Baker) Ford. He was a WWII veteran with the 87th Tank Destroyer Battalion and was honorably discharged in 1946. He married the love of his life Maxine on August 14, 1948. They had celebrated 62 years of marriage at the time of her passing. He owned and operated a family business Glen Ford Overhead Door Company and retired at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard L. and Vira Jane Baker Ford, wife, Maxine E. Ford, son, Danny M. Ford, (3) sisters, Jane Ford Doughten, Wanda J. Ford, Brisco, Doris L. Ford Watson, and (2) brothers, Ted C. Ford & Jack D. Ford. He is survived by his loving daughter, Sandy J. Patrick & Bruce of Odessa, loving sons, Larry D. Ford of Spicewood, TX and Monte L. Ford & Kathy of San Marcos, TX, brother, R. Mickey Ford & wife Charlene, (16) grandchildren, (27) great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & Many friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, December 6, at Sherwood Church of Christ, 49th St & N. Dixie Blvd. with Lynn Money officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pall bearers will be Colin Huff, Josh Huff, Corey Ford, Ryan Ford, Scott Hubbard, & Zane Patrick. In lieu of flowers please donate to any of the following, Star Hospice, Visiting Angels, or Meals on Wheels. Services entrusted to Odessa Funeral Home.
