Granville was born in Coleman, Texas to Granville Walton Setliff and Erma Gladys (Riggs) Setliff. He married Judy Nadine Bandy on May 27, 1961 in Odessa, Texas. He worked all his life in the oilfield industry, most of those years as a welder. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need.
Granville is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Granville Walker “Sonny” Setliff and sister, Wanda Perry.
Granville is survived by his wife, Judy Setliff, daughters, Teresa Richardson of Odessa, Texas and Selena Spratlen of Porter, Texas, son, Lonnie and wife, Dianne Setliff of La Vernia, Texas, grandchildren, Michael, Aaron, and Jeffrey Spratlen, Kelsi Powers, Alecxander Setliff, Austin Farmer, Amanda and Ragan Richardson.
Memorial services will be held 1 pm Sunday August 27, at 1906 N. H Street, Midland, Texas with the family to officiate.
