My condolences to the Mijares family. I only recently found out that Coach Lupe had passed away. I was lucky to be on the baseball team for 3 years. Coach knew me as Fernie and my formal name is Fernando. He was very kind and patient. He knew how to encourage every boy on the team without being harsh or mean. It meant a lot for my self esteem and added to my work ethic. God bless Lupe and your family. I also will keep Danny and Frank in my prayers.

My condolences go out to Lupe's family. I was fortunate as a child to have a coach that I respected teach me baseball. I would like to know if it's possibly to get a copy of a team photo. My email address is oscarlascano1@att.net.
