Guillermo Gutierrez Ramirez 67, of Odessa went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2010. He was born to Magdelena and Florentino Ramirez on June 25, 1943 in Ft. Stockton, TX. Visitation will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Bernardito Getigan officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Yolanda Ramirez; sons, Rene Ramirez, Eric Ramirez of Odessa; daughters, Ruby Ramirez, Griselda and husband Fernando Flores of Odessa; Brenda Barragan and husband Kenneth of Ft. Hood; Belinda Medina and husband Armando of Kansas, sisters, Simona Arredondo and husband Carlos of Kansas; Rosa Bitolas of Odessa, brothers; Manuel Ramirez and Henry “Nicki” Ramirez of Odessa, 24 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. Ramirez will be reunited with his loving son Guillermo “Willie” Ramirez Jr., sisters; Isidora Subia, and Mercedes Ramirez, brother; Gorgonio Ramirez.Mr. Ramirez will be best remembered for his services with BJ Hughes and Jones Brothers as a diesel mechanic and plant operator to his friends and colleagues.

Mr. Ramirez also full-filled his dreams of owning and operating his own heavy construction business. Pallbearers will be Anthony Vasquez, Zachary Vasquez, Edward Vasquez, Jesse Perez, Bryan Vasquez and Joe Kenneth Barragan.
