

Harold Dean Coleman, age 76, of Goldsmith, TX, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011.
He was born November 2, 1934, in Brilliant, AL, to Norman and Minnie Coleman. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany in 1956 and 1957. He married Judy Averitt on August 20, 1974, in Lovington, NM. He was a retired salesman and truck driver for ATCO Services.
Harold became a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in 1977, where he went on to hold several officer positions and received the Pilgrim’s Degree of Merit in May of 1991. Other interests included traveling on vacations and camping trips with family and friends, watching football, and flying the University of Alabama flag.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Minnie Coleman; son, Donald Coleman; brothers, Norman Coleman Jr, Charles Coleman, and Ernest Coleman; sisters, Mildred Wolf, Betty Miller, and Juanita Robbins; and a grandson, Chase Coleman.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Coleman, and children, Steve Coleman of Odessa, Ricky Coleman of Odessa, Mike and Lisa Coleman of Midland, Phillip and Jennifer Coleman of San Angelo, Wendy Coleman of Wisconsin, Lloyd and Tammy Mills of Odessa, and Tonya and Herschel Burson of Odessa. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Debbie Brown officiating.
