

Hence Clark Barrow was born October 25, 1942 in Odessa, Texas, at the Headlee Clinic. He passed from this life December 12, 2017. He grew up on the Barrow Ranch, which his grandparents homesteaded in 1906. He was a cattle raiser and rancher, and lived all of his life on the ranch. Many of his years were spent driving his truck, hauling cattle for ranches throughout West Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. He had a great appreciation for the land, livestock, and wildlife. He had a love for trains and was an avid model railroader. Growing up, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Odessa and was baptized there. Hence C. attended Austin Elementary, Crockett Junior High, and Odessa High School class of 1961. He married Patricia Teinert on June 5, 1966, and together they continued to help run the ranch and raise their family. Hence C. served in the United States Army from 1965-1971, active and active reserve duty. During those years he spent time at Fort Polk, LA and Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He was very patriotic, and had a great respect for our country, the armed forces, and our flag. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Hence Barrow. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Barrow, sister Mary Frances Barrow of Lubbock, son Brandon Hence Barrow, and wife Michele of Andrews, and daughter Holley Barrow Moore, and husband Michael of Andrews. Four grandchildren also survive him; Faith Barrow, Haden Barrow, Allison Moore, and Mason Moore. Also surviving are lifelong housekeeper and extended family member Luberta Golden and special caregivers Esmerelda Suarez and Lisa Gonzales. Pallbearers will be Derlin Hennig, George Hennig, Robert Hand, Bill Wight, Joe Hurt, Lane Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are Calvert Hennig, Toya Bolton, Jay Hurt, Buzz Hurt, Arthur Wight, Jason Wight, Bob Steakley, Calvin Smith, Richard Edwards, Dough Hardcastle, Dan Farber, Dick Palmer, and Fred Rodriguez. Visitation will be Thursday, December 14th at 5-7 pm at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. The Services will be held Friday, December 15th at 10 am at First Baptist Church.
