

She was born September 2, 1953 in San Antonio, Tx to Martin Sr. and Dora Alonzo Cortez.
She united in marriage to Moises De La Cruz Mancha on April 19, 1986 in Odessa, Tx. She was a Christian Catholic and Homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband: Moises De La Cruz Mancha; Son: Jeremy Cortez Mancha; Father: Martin Sr. Cortez; Sisters: Hope Cortez, Sylvia Bustos, and Paula Mackowiak. Brother-n-law: Mario Hernadez.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by: Mother: Dora A. Cortez of Odessa; Sons: Erik Mancha and wife Virginia, Casey Mancha and wife Martha all from Odessa, Tx; Daughter: Misty M. Hogg and husband Anthony Sr. from Dallas, Tx. She also leaves behind her brothers: Richard Cortez of Midland, Tx, Martin Cortez Jr. of Odessa, Tx; Sisters: Connie Delgado and Lydia Cortez from San Antonio, Tx. ; Yolanda Herrera (Elyceo), Elvia Muñoz (Joe), Brenda Cortez, Lisa Cortez, Rosie Silva (Mike), Frances Hernandez of Odessa, Tx;Grandsons: Cameron Mancha, Nicolas Mancha, Anthony Hogg Jr., Sebastian Mancha, Erik Mancha, Christian Mancha, Julian Diego Mancha and Granddaughters: Alyssa-Marie Hogg and Trinity-Elise Hogg and her extended family the Mancha’s, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Many friends.
Her beloved ones find comfort knowing that she no longer suffers from physical and emotional pain that she has endured the past 2 years. Our mother enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, vacationing to Vegas, watching and cheering for Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. Our family would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to all the nurses and doctors at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Pallbearers will be: Eddie Mancha, Andy Carrasco, Frankie Huerta, Daniel Bustos, Christopher Delgado, Elyceo Herrera, Joe Muñoz, and Rigoberto Dominguez.
Visitation will be held today Sunday March 15, 2015 from 1pm to 9p with a Rosary being recited at 7 P.M. at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Monday, March 16, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Reverend Father Michael Rodriguez officiating.
Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Gardens.
