Ian Bayne Wright

Ian was born October 16, 1976, to James Bayne Wright and Lynda Jean Lutz in Denver, CO. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1995, and received his Surgical Technology certification from Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio, TX, in 2004, and was employed for Medical Center Hospital as a Surgical Technologist.

He married Amber Lynn Chapman on February 3, 2010, in Hobbs, NM, and has been together 15 years. He became a father for the first time May 28, 2002, to Caden Bayne Wright and father for the second time on January 16, 2010, to Merritt Oscar Bayne Wright.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John Wright and Nila Wright, and his maternal grandparents Ozzie and DeeDe Lutz.

He is survived by his wife Amber Wright of Lubbock; his sons Caden Bayne Wright and Merritt Oscar Bayne Wright, both of Lubbock; his father James Bayne Wright of Lakewood, CO; mother Lynda Jean Goldstein of Spring, TX; brother Aaron Bayne Wright and wife Andrea and family of Houston, TX; sister Marie Allison Wright and husband Michael and family of Wichita, KS; and sister-in-law Tanya Wolfe and husband, Tommy, niece and nephew Kally Crutcher and Hoss Crutcher of Lubbock.

Ian was everything to his family and friends. He will be missed every day always and forever.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel in Odessa, with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
