Irene Del Bosque, 63, of Odessa, passed away on August 5, 2018.

Irene was born in Big Spring, Texas on December 30, 1954, to Bart and Aurora Del Bosque.

Irene enjoyed baking, sewing and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. She was a member of Odessa Christian Faith Center and went as often as possible.

Irene is preceded in death by her father Bart Del Bosque, Sr. and her brother Bart “Boy” Del Bosque, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Aurora Del Bosque; son, John Marquez; daughter, Amy Balerio and husband David; and five grandchildren, Ezra Marquez, D.J. Balerio, Daniel Balerio, Dylan Balerio and Demri Balerio; two sisters, Avora Del Bosque and Brenda Del Bosque and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 5:00p.m. on August 8, 2018 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel.

Biography

Irene Del Bosque was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Irene will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

       She was the daughter of Bart and Aurora Del Bosque.

      Irene was raised with three siblings. She had two sisters, Avora and Brenda and a brother, Bart “Boy” . Irene was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.

      Irene worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Irene was blessed with two children, a son, John and a daughter, Amy. Another blessing for Irene was the gift of five grandchildren, Ezra, D. J., Daniel, Dylan and Demri.

      Irene enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were baking, sewing and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.

      Irene’s faith was important to her. She was a member of Odessa Christian Faith Center.

      Irene passed away on August 5, 2018 at Odessa, Texas. She is survived by her mother, Aurora Del Bosque; son, John Marquez; daughter, Amy Balerio and husband David; and five grandchildren, Ezra Marquez, D. J. Balerio, Daniel Balerio, Dylan Balerio and Demri Balerio; two sisters, Avora Del Bosque and Brenda Del Bosque and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel.

      Simply stated, Irene was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Irene leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Irene Del Bosque.
