Israel "Ez" Abila

Israel was born in Fort Stockton, Texas on June 8th, 1955 to the late Florencio Abila Jr. and Sabina Huertas Abila.

Although retired, Israel worked as a truck driver for Mayfield Paper Co. for number of years worked. Israel enjoyed playing pool, fishing and spending time with his family.

Israel is survived by his son Israel Abila Jr., brothers, Florencio Abila Jr., Raul Abila, Robert Abila and sister, Manuela Abila Santiago, grandchildren twin girls Gabriela and Sarafina Abila, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Israel is preceded in death by his parents Florencio Abila Jr, Sabina Huertas Abila, brothers Ruben Abila, Lupe Abila, Ismael Abila, sisters Ramona Abila, Brenda Abila.

The family of Israel H, Abila wishes to thank Melissa Hernandez McGhee, Veronica Abila, Chrissy Morales, The Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge for their help in the days following Israels death.

A visitation for Israel will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A memorial service will occur Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Odessa Funeral Home.
