Jack Darwin Morris

He is survived by his beloved wife, Delores Morris; son, Randy Morris (Robin); daughter, Darwina Morris; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Dorothy Morris; brothers, Dale Morris and Leroy Morris; and great-granddaughter, Lucy Lynn Ray.

Jack attended Alvord High School and in 1949 met the love of his life, Delores, in Alvord. They married on June 17, 1955, and together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Jack spent much of his life working as a self-employed home remodeling contractor and insurance adjuster. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and willingness to help others.

He was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Odessa. He enjoyed fishing, RV traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He also dearly loved his pet companion, Sparky.

Jack will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his steady presence, and the many lives he touched throughout the years. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Serving as pallbearers are Aaron Morris, Christopher Morris, Charles Ray, Evan Eachus, Charles Reynolds, and Jimmy Austin.

The Funeral Service will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Odessa, TX, Saturday, May 30 at 11:00am with a Graveside Committal to immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa, TX. Pastor Mark McDonald will officiate.
